Sancti Clandestini Undercover Saints.

News on the Saints book I did an illustration for earlier in the year! The book is being published and there is going to be an exhibition of all the work that is being included. Some of it, mine included, will be on sale (here's a link back if you want a reminder of mine, the Patron Saint of Eco Warriors).

The exhibition is at the Poetry Cafe in Covent Garden from the 29th of October to the 16th November. It would be lovely to see some of you there!

3x3 Magazine and other news!

Well what a month! Yesterday I received an email to tell me that my entry for the  3x3 student show edition of the magazine has won a place. I have been awarded a merit award which is absolutely amazing! My piece, "Look at all the monkeys" from the Spike Milligan series of pictures I did earlier in the year will be featured in the autumn edition of the magazine.
3x3 is the first and only magazine that is devoted entirely to the art of contemporary illustration. Published in the United States and distributed worldwide, it interested in what's shaping international illustration. Check it out here: https://www.3x3mag.com/aboutthemag.html.

In the meantime here are some lovely pictures of my friend Tavi sporting one of my temporary tattoos. This one is of Buster and is from the Battersea Dogs Home series!

And here's me applying one to Maj at the degree show (her beautiful work is in the background).

Guerilla Dance.

I was asked to do some illustrations for the fabulous Guerilla Dance Group. (http://www.guerilladanceproject.com/)
"An innovative dance company that creates work that relishes our social interaction with objects within our everyday environment. The Guerilla Dance Project has developed a unique contemporary dance vocabulary by embracing object manipulation as a key component to making our dance 'appear and disappear'."

They wanted a number of "LadyBird Book style" illustrations a new dance game they are doing called Eye-Spy.
Here are a couple of the images I came up with.

N.B. They are performing tonight at The V and A late with these illustrations! Mosey on down if you'd like to see them!

My illustration linocuts from the summer project have been used in Meow magazine! They even featured me on the cover! Yay me!
